Jaguar Land Rover’s Gaydon Engineering Center engineers believe that using 3D printing technology, a set of lattice structures can be printed to support the arms, reduce stress, relax muscles, and wear them to automakers to avoid musculoskeletal diseases.
It is reported that this set of gloves is modeled by CAD software to establish a design model with different densities, and the model is designed and tested. The second-generation 3D printing model was developed, using D3 polymer material, which can better absorb impact. Employees use their palms to carry auto parts to better avoid musculoskeletal damage.
In addition, the Jaguar Land Rover Additive Manufacturing Center stated that in the future, these 3D printing gloves will be equipped with auxiliary tools to increase research and development efforts to help more people with muscle weakness or physical diseases return to work, so that 3D printing technology can benefit society , To reduce the occurrence of employee diseases, and to protect employees’ fitness life.
